How to get Virtualbox to work via WIFI

Bridging over a wireless link will work if your hardware equipement accept to talk to several computers over a single wifi link, which is not that often the case. Virtualbox does not make any difference if it's Wireless or Wired, it will work just as good on both.

So basically you can try set up a bridged connection to your hosts wireless adapter, but if it doesn't appear in VBox's bridged adapter dropdown it's not supported.

All you can do in that case is use a NAT adapter and a host only network adapter to connect to your virtual machine from the host. This should give you access to the hosts external network.
